Wildflower

Here is another one of Texas’ famed spring wildflowers. I wish I could tell you it’s name, but I haven’t a clue. My husband has googled a possible match: an Indian Blanket or Gaillardia Pulchella. They are part of the Sunflower family.

If you look closely, you can see the itty-bitty black bug hanging out on the anthers…I think (botanists, help me out).
